CONT;NUE ON

The Continue On Organization:

The Continue On Organization was created by Nadine Crocker to get people the help they need and to continue to elevate stories on mental health and suicide prevention. Your donations will go to aiding those in need of mental health services and bringing awareness to mental health through storytelling. We are a new 501(c)(3), and our foundation is not yet on GoFundMe's site.

Recently, our founder, Nadine Crocker, was looking for mental health services in her area because she was struggling and was floored to find most do NOT take insurance, and the rates for a great provider were through the roof. If she could barely afford the services she needs, what does that mean for youth battling mental health? Our youth is the leading number of death by suicide in the United States. Unable to stand by, she started her own nonprofit with the goal and dream of helping others find their way out of the darkness and find what health looks like for them. Much like other disorders or disabilities, it is a spectrum. There is not a one-size-fits-all all for mental health, and EVERYONE should be able to receive the help they need.

The Continue On Organization will continue to elevate mental health and suicide prevention stories on its way to its highest dream of creating a subsidy to pay for mental health services for our youth and underprivileged youth. We will match them with a provider in their area and cover the costs. We also hope to host workshops to use storytelling to speak about our emotions and mental health by writing scenes from our lives and letting actors portray our struggles. You would be amazed by the release you can feel writing and purging these thoughts and trauma, and watching someone else embody them can be a life-changing lesson while also bringing so much pride in seeing our work come to life. But to do that, we need help from YOU!

Your donations don’t just give our organization a life;

They could SAVE A LIFE;

Nadine Crocker’s Story:

My name is Nadine Crocker. I am the filmmaker behind the attached film CONT;NUE, my true story of battling with suicide and depression both in my family and in my own life. After surviving a suicide attempt when I was 23 years old, I now wake up and kiss my wonderful husband and hold my sweet baby boy, and I cannot believe how lucky I am that I failed that night.

My vision is this film serves as a vehicle to save the lives of people living with mental health, to let them know, as isolated as they may feel, others are struggling with the same demons. This film is a fantastic opportunity to portray the everyday battles people fight against substance abuse, mental health, love, and loss. It has a chance to break stigmas surrounding mental health and to spread awareness. I am donating a percentage of my personal proceeds from CONT;NUE to nonprofits supporting mental health, depression, and suicide prevention. I have also created “Continue On Organization” nonprofit to coincide with the film. I truly believe this film and MOVEMENT will CHANGE LIVES, and God willing, SAVE LIVES from suicide.

I hope to change one mind on their darkest day when the light of hope is absent. At that moment, a thought comes to their mind of a film they once saw, a true story that gives them hope to live another day. This is my calling; help me achieve this dream.
